Does Birth Center Stone Oak Take Insurance?
A big part of considering birth center care is understanding the financials. We understand that it is important for families to know in detail what paying for their care looks like.
We are out of network with insurance providers, but we have many ways of working with families to assure that this care is affordable to them.
Before planning your birth at our center, we recommend speaking with your insurance company about coverage options. This will help you prepare financially. After the birth, we can assist with reimbursement requests.
We provide superbills for our clients. Many clients get reimbursed by their insurance companies using our superbills.
What is a Superbill?
A superbill is a detailed receipt for all the services and procedures in your care. It contains important information such as procedure codes that help insurance companies reimburse you afterward. This is especially useful for reimbursement from out-of-network insurance companies.
Does Insurance Cover Lab Work?
For lab work, we submit clients’ insurance information along with their labs. The lab company processes labs directly through clients’ insurance.
What are the Birth Center’s Charges?
Our Birth Center charges are often less than out-of-pocket expenses associated with deductibles and copays. We also offer affordable payment plans for clients wanting to cover the costs themselves.
We recommend calling us or booking an appointment so we can provide you with the cost information in detail.
Am I able to use my Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay?
Yes! We accept payment from/through your Health Savings Account.
